Friars Turn Over A New Cloverleaf

After nine consecutive losses to the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame, Providence dominated from beginning to end against the nation's 21st ranked team, sweeping Notre Dame aside, 71-54, in front of a sellout crowd of 12,428 at the Dunk.

The Friars' fourth straight league win pushed their record to 14-11 overall and 6-7 in the Big East. It was also Providence's first home win against the Irish since February of 1998.
