Fairfield Post Game Leftovers

There proved to be no stag party at the Dunkin' Donuts Center Friday night, as Providence broke open what was a modest half time lead and cruised to 66-47 win over Ed Cooley's former program of Fairfield University.

Fairfield appears well coached, puts forth great effort, and plays solid defense. Unfortunately, for Sidney Johnson, his team simply struggles to put the ball in the basket. Derek Needham tied his season-high with 18 points, but it wasn't going to be nearly enough as Ed Cooley took his old program seriously and had his Friar squad ready to take care of business.
