PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Rutgers readied for Friday's season opener with a 92-52 win against Division II Holy Family, and coach Mike Rice found mixed results. After it, he spoke to the media about what he saw, from the good to the bad.

It's been an emotional and painful week for the tri-state area due to Hurricane Sandy and the destruction it caused, and Rutgers said playing Sunday's exhibition game brought some normalcy back to life.

The Scarlet Knights won 92-52, and it was filled with some positives and negatives. After the game, coach Mike Rice spoke about what he saw on the court, and what he has seen while living near the Jersey Shore.
