Marquette Deals Friars Disappointing Loss

Coming home in between road trips, the Friars faced Marquette on Saturday night in front of a crowd of 9,469 despite harsh weather conditions earlier in the day. The Friars looked to bump to 2-5 in Big East play and take down the 22nd nationally ranked Golden Eagles, but Marquette had other plans and beat the Friars on their home court, 79-72.
